Mesquite Gaming has joined efforts with the City of Mesquite to celebrate the city’s heritage, traditions and down home weekend full of fun. A much-anticipated part of the event, the Smokin’ Hot Mesquite Days BBQ Championship boasts one of the largest prize purses in the west at $40,000.

The Smokin’ Hot Mesquite Days BBQ Championship is free for attendees. Hundreds of grill masters from throughout the country are expected to flock to Mesquite for this competition.

The community event brings together families and friends of all ages to enjoy a carnival-like atmosphere with rides, 40 – 50 food/arts and crafts vendors. Just across the street from the carnival at the CasaBlanca Resort and Casino a world-class BBQ championship with more than 10,000 attendees and will feature a micro beer garden and 2-3 BBQ food vendors.
