MESQUITE, NEVADA (April 10, 2017) – CasaBlanca Resort will host its fifth annual benefit concert “One Hero at a Time” from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the CasaBlanca Showroom. This year’s event will recognize the honorable Daniel Holman for his dedication and service in the U.S. Army and Joint Forces, as well as his family. A $20 donation is recommended and all proceeds will benefit Holman.

A variety of events will take place, including raffle prizes, live bands and special presentations for Daniel Holman, as well as meet and greet opportunities. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet past recipients of the award and other veterans. Performances throughout the day include John Brooks “From Memphis to Vegas, a Tribute to the King,” Rockin’ Mockers,” “The Experiment” and “The Desert Outlaws.” Prior to the main event, a benefit ‘Out and Back’ ride to the Gunlock Reservoir will take place at 9 a.m. Motorcycles, trikes, cars and trucks are welcome and participants should line up behind the CasaBlanca Resort at the backdoor of the Showroom.

“The One Hero at a Time event is a special one for us and one we’re proud to support,” said Anthony Toti, CEO of Mesquite Gaming. “It’s truly amazing to meet these incredible men and women who have risked their lives to serve our country and to see them be honored and supported in the Mesquite community.”

The mission of “One Hero at a Time” is to honor one soldier, marine, airman or sailor who has paid a heavy price for our nation and their families. “It is their way of taking care of our own and letting them know their sacrifice has not been forgotten,” explains Rick Hills, founder of “One Hero at a Time.” The organization started nearly ten years ago.
