Tuff-N-Uff and Mesquite Gaming host ‘Mayhem in Mesquite XIV’

Mesquite, Nev. – On Saturday, May 19, Tuff-N-Uff and Mesquite Gaming will host Mayhem in Mesquite XIV, featuring Chris “lil Savage” Elisarrars (5-2) out of Xtreme Couture Las Vegas versus Jaylon Bates (4-0) fighting out of Portland, Ore.

Elisarrars has a very decorated amateur MMA career holding titles in two other regional MMA promotions (559 Fights & 209 Beatdown). Chris is a very skilled stand up and ground fighter who now has his eyes on becoming a two division Tuff-N-Uff champion. Step one of that goal starts at Mayhem in Mesquite Verses 4-0 Jaylon “New Breed” Bates for the 135-pound championship title. After that, Chris faces David Lopez for the 125-pound championship title at Tuff-N-Uff’s “Pack The Mack” event on June 30. With these two title fights being his last before going pro, he looks to go out with a bang holding four titles.

Jaylon “New Breed” Bates out of Portland City Boxing is a man on a mission. Starting his MMA career with an impressive four wins and zero losses, Jaylon won his last fight via a nasty arm-bar submission. He now has his sights set on going for the 135-pound title against Chris “lil Savage” Elisarrars. These two warriors are the main event and look to bring the house down with nonstop action.

The co-main event features a local Las Vegas fight fan favorite, Nick Perez (4-3-1) fighting out of Xtreme Couture competing against Elijah Legget (3-1) out of Icon MMA in San Diego. Nick looked very impressive in his last win over Bryce Ewing via Rear Naked choke at Tuff-N-Uff’s March 30 event. Always training and trying to stay in the cage, Nick feels it’s time to add a 145-pound title to his résumé and keep the Tuff-N-Uff belt in its Las Vegas home.

Elijah legget (3-1) out of Icon MMA likes to let his hands go. With three KOs in his career he looks to stand and bang. Coming to Mesquite, Nev. from Moreno Valley, Calif. he’s not trying to waste his time and put on a show for the fans.

Bryan Arreaga, fighting out of Guadalajara, Mexico versus Cody Hamm out of Xtreme Couture is likely going to be the rematch of year. Already sharing three rounds of amazing action at Tuff-N-Uff’s March 2017 event “Downtown Showdown.” After taking a year off from fighting, Bryan has been training hard and is now looking to take the 155-pound Tuff-N-Uff title home to Mexico.

Cody Hamm out of Xtreme Couture is more than ready for his shot. Training out of the legendary Xtreme Couture gym, Cody has polished up the gaps in his game and looks to finish what was started at “Downtown Showdown.” Both fighters are training hard and ready for war.
