Adults ages 50 and better to compete in variety of events in Mesquite, Nev. throughout March and April
MESQUITE, NEV. – (March 1, 2019) – More than 1,200 seniors from around the region and diverse backgrounds will converge upon Mesquite, Nev. to compete in the 2019 Mesquite Senior Games. The games, sponsored by Mesquite Gaming, owner of Casablanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel,encourages adults ages 50 and better to get active and participate in a variety of fun and challenging sporting events. The games include competitive events such as tennis, basketball, track and field, cycling, softball, table tennis, putting, bocce ball and bowling. The 2019 MesquiteSenior Games begin Monday, March 4 and conclude on Sunday, April 14.

The Mesquite Senior Games, a non-profit organization, began in 2002 with eight events. Today, the games have expanded to include nearly 20 events and also feature non-sporting activities such as Poker, Bridge, fitness hikes and a history tour of downtown Mesquite.
