Over 900 vehicles on display in the picturesque Virgin River Valley and family-friendly events throughout the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend
Mesquite, Nev. (December 10, 2019) – Mesquite Gaming, owner of Casablanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel is excited to ring in the new year with the 12th Annual Mesquite Motor Mania. In partnership with the Las Vegas Cruisin’ Association, Mesquite Motor Mania 2020 runs from Friday, January 17 through Sunday, January 19 and provides three days of nonstop excitement for car enthusiasts.
More than 900 vehicles will be on display, including a variety of burnouts, slow drags, classics, rat rods, imports and more. Car collectors from near and far make the trip to Mesquite to show off their prized possessions and join in on the fun. The car show delivers a family-friendly event lineup including the roaring engines competition, slow drags, burn-out contests and open headers cruising.
“Mesquite Motor Mania kicks off our 2020 weekend events calendar and we’re excited for car aficionados to return and show off their award-winning vehicles,” said Christian Adderson, corporate sales manager at Mesquite Gaming. “From the Nostalgia Thunder Fire Up to the poker trivia walk and late-night entertainment, the three-day holiday weekend is jam-packed with events for a perfect getaway.”
This highly anticipated car show gives away more than 260 total awards, plus $15,000 in cash and drawing prizes for car show participants, including Dignitary Picks, People’s Choice and Crowd Pleasers Awards.
In addition to the Mesquite Motor Mania events, entertainment for the weekend includes The Albumpalooza Concert Series – performing Steve Miller Band’s Greatest Hits Album and The Best of the Doobie Brothers on Friday night and Pink Floyd Tribute – performing The Best of The Wall, Wish You Were Here and Dark Side of the Moon on Saturday.
