Annual hot air balloon spectacular returns to delight families across the southwest.
Mesquite Gaming, owner of CasaBlanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel, once again lights up its family-favorite Mesquite Balloon Festival the weekend of January 26th-28th. Each morning, over 35 hot air balloons will soar up into the desert sky creating picturesque memories to last a lifetime. Each evening, the balloons rise again for the stunning Night Glow – Candlestick Show.

The multi-colored balloons take to the sky at 7:30am each morning from the Oasis parking lot beside the CasaBlanca. The Night Glow – Candlestick Show launches just after sunset from under the resort video marquee sign in the southwest parking lot of the CasaBlanca. The event is totally free and family-friendly. All events are dependent on the weather. Smoking is prohibited at the morning launches and night glow.
As always, volunteers are a very important part of making the Festival possible, and are needed for each day of the long weekend. Shifts can be booked for either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
